Motor Mechanic
OC Car Pty Ltd, one of Australia's largest and most innovative used car retailers, is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic for their Rutherford workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults in motor vehicles
- Discuss problems with drivers to discover faults
- Dismantle or remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms or other components, and checks parts
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble mechanical components
- Test and adjust repaired sub-assemblies, and re-install them
- Tune engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
- Re-line and adjust brakes
- Change oil and filters, and lubricate vehicles or fuelled motor appliances
- Inspect and service emission control systems and petrol fuel systems
- Repair steering systems, suspension systems and hydraulic braking systems
- Carry out service operations and diagnostic procedures

GOOD SALARY PACKAGE ($80,000 + Super)
