The Role
Auto & General's Top of Funnel Program is a strategic portfolio of initiatives designed to grow quote volume and improve conversion across direct and partner brands. The Business Analyst will own the analysis function across the program, leading requirements elicitation, process mapping, options analysis, and functional specification development through Ignite phase gates. Operating in a complex environment with multi-system integrations and cross-divisional stakeholders (Marketing, Technology, Sales & Service, Compliance, Legal), the BA will drive analysis independently, produce investment-grade artefacts, and actively shape solution design. Depending on the initiative, the BA will work alongside a Project Manager or operate as the sole delivery resource, owning both analysis and coordination end to end.

Network with internal and external resources to bring best practices to the program
Auto & General's Top of Funnel Program is a strategic portfolio of initiatives aimed at growing quote volume and improving conversion across the business's direct and partner brands. The program spans customer acquisition, marketing effectiveness, digital experience, compliance uplift, and technology capability — with each initiative contributing to a materially stronger top-of-funnel performance.
The Contract Business Analyst will own the analysis function across the program — leading requirements elicitation, current-state assessment, process mapping, options analysis, and functional specification development as initiatives progress through Ignite phase gates. The role operates across a technically and commercially complex environment: multi-system integrations, regulatory compliance requirements, and cross-divisional stakeholder groups spanning Marketing, Technology, Sales & Service, Compliance, and Legal.
This is not a support role. The BA is expected to drive analysis independently, produce investment-grade artefacts, and actively shape solution design alongside technology, marketing, and risk stakeholders. Depending on the initiative, the BA will work alongside a dedicated Project Manager or operate as the sole delivery resource — owning both the analysis and the coordination of stakeholder and delivery activity end-to-end.
