Handyman — NSW Illawarra Region | Kanda
You've already got a client base and a van full of tools. You know how to show up on time, do the job properly, and leave someone's home better than you found it. We're looking for someone exactly like you.
Kanda is a community nursing and home support provider, and we are seeking Expressions of Interest from reliable, ABN-registered tradespeople to help our older clients in NSW Illawarra and Wollongong Regions with the kind of home maintenance jobs that keep their homes safe and liveable.
This isn't a full-time arrangement. It's flexible, ongoing work designed to sit alongside your existing client base — filling your diary on your terms.
The work itself
- Window cleaning — inside and out, single storey
- Gutter clearing — single storey
- Lawn mowing (where the client has their own mower) and yard tidying to remove tripping hazards
- Changing light globes and smoke alarm batteries
- Air conditioning filter cleaning
Straightforward jobs. The difference you make isn't in the complexity — it's in the fact that for many of our clients, these are things they simply can't do safely on their own anymore.
What you'll need
- ABN registration and current public liability insurance
- Blue Card and National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
- Two professional references from paid employers or previous clients
- Your own vehicle, registration and vehicle insurance
- Covid-19 vaccination — minimum two doses
- Access to a computer, email and printer for admin
