About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at Griffith Base Hospital, you will be instrumental in the development and career success of the nursing team across the Medical Unit. You will be the go-to expert for nursing education, providing engaging evidence-based programs and support to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, in your specialist field. Drive a patient-focused, tailored education approach that supports nursing staff to translate learning into safe, high-quality clinical care.
As the CNE, and ideal candidate you will:

Deliver and coordinate clinical education and professional development

Orientate, supervise and mentor staff and students

Promote clinical leadership, best practice and a positive learning culture

Contribute to district-wide education, training and policy development

Provide unit-based and individual education and skill support

Delegate and support Nurses and others within scope of practice

Maintain contemporary practice and meet CNE/CME Framework requirements

Participate in audits, quality activities and care delivery aligned with safety standards
