As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a creative and commercially minded Marketing Specialist to help us strengthen our online presence, tell compelling travel stories, and inspire more travellers to discover China.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Specialist to join our growing travel brand team. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives to promote our travel products, destinations, and customer experiences across international markets.
You will play a key role in digital marketing, campaign management, content creation, product development and brand promotion to support business growth and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer preferences, market opportunities, industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the travel industry.
- Analyse customer behaviour, campaign performance, website analytics, and digital engagement data to evaluate marketing effectiveness and support business growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve customer engagement and overall marketing performance.
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote ChinaTours.com's products, destinations, and travel experiences across international markets.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated marketing campaigns for travel products, destinations, seasonal promotions and new product launches across multiple digital and communication channels.
- Coordinate digital marketing and social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Create and manage engaging marketing content including destination stories, travel guides, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Oversee website content, landing pages, SEO initiatives, and online user experience to improve visibility and customer engagement.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, website traffic, social media activities, and key marketing metrics.
- Support branding and promotional activities to strengthen ChinaTours.com's presence and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
- Promote new tour products, travel itineraries, and destination experiences through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective marketing and promotional outcomes.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both creativity and commercial thinking.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years' experience in digital marketing, content marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience in digital marketing, campaign management, content creation, and social media marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Mandarin/English bilingual capability preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience using website content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, website optimisation, and digital marketing best practices.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar marketing tools.
- Experience in tourism, travel, hospitality, or international markets will be highly regarded.
