ICT Project Manager

About the Role
ZECO Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation and integration of technology systems that support our commercial cleaning operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, workforce management and compliance across the business.
Working closely with senior management, operations staff and external technology providers, you will oversee the implementation of business-critical software solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and rollout of workforce management and scheduling software, ensuring rostering supports Fair Work and award/agreement obligations.
- Oversee the deployment of mobile applications used by field cleaning staff, including clock-in/out, task checklists, quality assurance and WHS/incident reporting.
- Manage the transition and integration of CRM and automated billing systems.
- Ensure the security and privacy of company, employee and client data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
- Act as the primary liaison with external technology vendors and IT support providers, managing contracts, service levels and project budgets.
- Develop and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, budgets, risk registers and progress reports.
- Deliver user training and change management activities to support successful adoption of new systems across office and field teams.
- Maintain IT policies, backup procedures and cyber security practices, recommending continuous improvements.
- Perform other related duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor level qualification in Information Technology, Project Management, Business or a related discipline or else 5 years of experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
- A recognised project management certification (such as PRINCE2, PMP or AgilePM) will be highly regarded.
- Current Australian work rights.
- A current driver's licence, as regular travel to client sites is required.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience managing ICT projects, including software or enterprise system implementations.
- Demonstrated experience implementing workforce management, scheduling, CRM and/or billing systems.
- Experience within the cleaning, facilities management, security, trades or another field workforce/services environment will be highly regarded.
Skills
- Strong project management, planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
- Sound understanding of Australian data security and privacy obligations.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
