PACK & SEND West Perth is looking for a reliable, friendly and capable Logistics Coordinator to join our small team in a varied role combining customer service, local pickups and deliveries, logistics, order fulfilment and packing.

PACK & SEND is Australia's leading parcel, courier and freight solutions business. We specialise in providing "No Limits" solutions – helping customers pack and send virtually anything, anywhere.
Unlike a standard post office or courier outlet, we're a service-based business. Our customers come to us with everything from everyday parcels and online orders through to fragile artwork, electronics, unusual items and complex domestic and international freight.
That means no two days are quite the same.
The Role
You'll work both in our West Perth Service Centre and out on the road, becoming an important part of the day-to-day running of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, professional service to customers in-store, by phone and email
- Discussing customer requirements and helping identify suitable packing and freight solutions
- Assisting with quotes, bookings and processing shipments
- Performing local customer pickups and deliveries using our company vehicle
- Safely loading, securing and unloading customer goods
- Weighing, measuring, labelling and processing freight
- Assisting with packing and preparation of goods for transport
- Picking and packing orders and general order fulfilment
- Tracking shipments and assisting with customer enquiries
- General administration and helping keep the Service Centre organised and running smoothly
You'll sometimes be dealing with valuable, fragile or unusual items, so care, attention to detail and common sense are important.
Who We're Looking For
We're more interested in finding the right person than someone who already knows the freight industry. Training will be provided.
You'll ideally be someone who:
- Is friendly, confident and genuinely comfortable dealing with customers
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Can work independently and use initiative
- Enjoys problem solving and doesn't mind when every job is a little different
- Is comfortable with a role that combines customer service and administration with being on your feet and handling freight
- Can safely lift and move parcels and use equipment such as trolleys
- Holds a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence, with a good driving record, and is a safe and confident driver
Previous experience in customer service, retail, logistics, warehousing, delivery driving or order fulfilment would be useful, but isn't essential for the right person.

Driver's licence: Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence with a good driving record required
