Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces team is seeking a Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces student.
Purpose:
Assist in the planning, design, delivery and management of Council’s sustainable transport and open space programs, including capital works and maintenance projects. Support the delivery of high-quality customer service through the preparation of correspondence, reports, designs, technical documentation and project-related administrative activities.
About the role and some of the things you will do:
- Provide general assistance to the Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces team.
- Undertake and assist in design duties and planning duties.
- Assist the department with investigating and actioning department customer service requests, preparing correspondence and the production of reports.
- Assist in the design and planning of Randwick’s sustainable transport and green grid network
About you:
- Currently undertaking a tertiary degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Planning Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Autocad (or equivalent), word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
