THE ROLE
As the Service Manager - Property Technology, you'll be the operational heartbeat of our Property Technology team, ensuring every service request is triaged, resourced and delivered efficiently across our national portfolio. You'll coordinate technicians, subcontractors and vendors, oversee the end-to-end service lifecycle, and ensure exceptional service delivery for both Scape and Aveo.
This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape a newly established service management function within a growing national technology business.
Day-to-day you will be (but not limited to):
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of service requests, from intake through to completion and invoicing
- Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors and vendors across multiple states
- Prioritise and dispatch reactive, planned and project-related work based on urgency, capability and cost
- Monitor job progress, resolve delays and ensure service levels are consistently achieved
- Manage purchase orders, materials and procurement for field service activities
- Support commercial reporting, invoicing, cost reconciliation and margin tracking
- Build and maintain a high-performing national subcontractor network
- Partner with Operations, Facilities and Property teams to provide outstanding customer service
- Monitor service performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop operational processes, documentation and service delivery standards
Please note: This role requires occasional interstate travel and participation in an operational on-call roster.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Demonstrated experience in Service Management, Field Service Coordination or Operations Management
- Strong understanding of dispatch, scheduling, subcontractor management and service delivery workflows
- Experience coordinating vendors and third-party service providers across multiple locations
- Commercial mindset with exposure to purchase orders, invoicing and cost management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across operational and technical teams
- Experience using field service management, job management or operational software platforms
- Experience within property, facilities management, technology services or managed services environments will be highly regarded
