About the role
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a busy Emergency Department servicing a vast and unique catchment across Queensland and the Northern Territory.
You will deliver frontline clinical care while developing broad experience across acute, paediatric, and Indigenous health, supported by experienced senior medical staff.
Deliver high-quality clinical care under Consultant supervision, managing a diverse range of emergency presentations
Contribute to patient safety and quality through clinical audits, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
Support and engage in paediatric telehealth and outreach services across remote communities
Working with us
Base salary ranges between $5,130.40 and $5,634.80 per fortnight (L4 - L7).
Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

Requirements
To be "on-call" or participate in shift rosters is a requirement of the position.
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
