The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
Got What It Takes?
- Experience in communicating with a wide range of Deaf people
- A minimum of five years of active experience in a Deaf Community (ongoing language user)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE 40116 Cert IV or equivalent is desirable
- Experience in teaching Deaf adults is highly regarded
- Auslan/English bilingual with Auslan proficiency essential, and working proficiency in written English
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
