OneCare is a not-for-profit aged care organization, founded on the principles of compassion, respect and dignity for the individual. We take a holistic approach to the provision of our services, treating each resident and consumer as a whole person' with regard to the design and delivery of their individual care and well-being. We have a rich history and have been providing residential aged care for more than 40 years.
What we need
Working as part of the Quality Team, the role has a practical implementation focus. It supports sites to translate complaints, compliments, resident and representative feedback, lifestyle data, consumer engagement outcomes, quality data and internal assessment findings into clear actions that improve the lived experience of residents.
The position works closely with site leaders, Lifestyle teams, care and clinical teams, Quality and Compliance, Operations, residents, families and representatives to identify risks, support improvement plans, monitor progress and escalate unresolved issues through appropriate governance pathways.
What will you do?

Support sites to translate complaints, compliments, resident feedback, lifestyle data, audits, and assessment outcomes into practical and measurable improvement actions.

Analyse feedback and complaints trends to identify recurring issues, service gaps, risks, and opportunities to enhance resident experience and service delivery.

Partner with site leaders, Lifestyle, care, and clinical teams to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate improvement plans.

Ensure improvement actions are documented, tracked, reviewed, and supported by evidence through quality and governance systems.

Coach and support teams to strengthen capability in lifestyle services, resident experience, consumer engagement, and effective feedback and complaints management.
What you bring to the role
Essential
-
Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification, or a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following areas: Aged Care and/or Community Services; Leisure & Health or Leisure & Wellbeing; Diversional Therapy; Social Work or Counselling; Quality Improvement or Quality Auditing; Complaints Management / Consumer Engagement; Health or Human Services; Business Administration Management

Experience working in residential aged care or another regulated care setting

Experience working in one of the following: lifestyle; leisure and health; diversional therapy; social support; pastoral care; consumer engagement; complaints or quality improvement

Sound digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, email, SharePoint and Teams.

Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence

Right to work in Australia
Desirable
-
Training in complaints handling, open disclosure, conflict resolution, mediation or customer experience.

Internal auditor qualification or recognised quality auditing training.

Training in dementia care, trauma-informed care, cultural safety, grief and loss, palliative care or psychosocial wellbeing.
