With multiple upcoming projects, we are looking for a proactive and driven Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the growth of our workforce by managing recruitment activities while also building our presence across the industry and community.
Role Overview
As the Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across our projects, ensuring we attract and secure high-quality candidates within the civil construction and FRP space.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, people-focused, and confident working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You will play a key role in building talent pipelines, supporting mobilisation, and promoting Castleross as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple construction projects
- Source and attract candidates within the FRP and civil space (formworkers, steelfixers, concreters, operators, grounds workers etc.)
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support onboarding and mobilisation
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support upcoming works
- Liaise with labour hire providers and industry contacts
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records
Engagement & Branding
- Organise sponsorship opportunities (e.g. local football teams and community initiatives)
- Attend university, TAFE, and school career days and open days
- Support recruitment campaigns across social media platforms
- Assist with initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention on site
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous recruitment experience within the construction industry (essential)
- Exposure to FRP and civil trades highly desirable
- Strong understanding of blue-collar recruitment and mobilisation
- Experience using recruitment platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
