Increase awareness and referrals to the Carer Gateway Program
Our Organisation
At The Benevolent Society, we believe every person deserves to live life on their own terms, with dignity, respect and a sense of belonging. For over two centuries, this belief has shaped who we are and how we work.
We’re working towards a just society where everyone feels valued, safe and included. As a not-for-profit, independent and non-religious organisation, we proudly embrace diversity and are deeply committed to reconciliation. We welcome people from all backgrounds, identities and experiences to join us in creating positive change.
About the role
As our Partnership Specialist, you'll take a proactive and growth-focused approach to increasing awareness, referrals and engagement with the Carer Gateway program. While there is a strong emphasis on developing opportunities that support and connect young carers, the role also contributes to broader partnership development and community engagement activities across the wider caring community.
You will help ensure carers and their families know where to turn for practical and trusted support. Drawing on your existing networks and your ability to build meaningful relationships, you'll identify opportunities to connect with schools, youth services, education providers, health services, community organisations and other partners who can help reach carers, while also building pathways that increase awareness and access to Carer Gateway more broadly.
You'll bring curiosity, confidence and initiative to uncover new opportunities that make it easier for carers, young carers, families and professionals to understand and access Carer Gateway. Through your ability to influence, engage and educate stakeholders, you'll help position Carer Gateway as a trusted support service, increasing access to information, counselling, coaching and other vital supports.
