Team Leader / Supervisor – Swirl & Stacks
Swirl & Stacks is looking for a Team Leader / Supervisor to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who is more than just a supervisor — we want a hands-on all-rounder who can lead from the front, keep the team motivated, and make sure our high standards are followed every single day.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for leading a team of 3-7 team members during our morning/day shifts, while also jumping in and getting your hands dirty when needed.
We need someone who is confident making decisions, can keep a busy shift running smoothly, and isn’t afraid to step into any part of the business — from the kitchen to customer service, cleaning and everything in between.
Availability
- 10:00am – 5:00pm shifts
- Availability across 7 days of the week
- Approximately 15–25 hours per week
- Flexibility will be required in the future as the business grows
- Potential opportunity to move into a full-time position for the right person
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team of 5–10 people
- Experience working in a kitchen / food environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- To be a true all-rounder who is happy to work wherever needed
- The ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures — and make sure the team does the same
- A strong customer-first mindset — we want someone who is genuinely obsessed with creating a great customer experience
- Excellent attention to cleanliness, hygiene and presentation — if you’re a cleanliness freak, even better!
- The ability to stay calm, organised and effective during busy periods
- Initiative and the ability to think outside the box and solve problems
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- The confidence to lead by example rather than simply tell others what to do
The Right Person
The ideal candidate is someone who sees what needs to be done before being asked.
You’ll be someone who can walk into a shift, assess what’s happening, get the team organised, jump into the kitchen when needed, keep customers happy, maintain cleanliness and make sure the entire operation is running to our standards.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership.
