The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our high-performing Commercial Finance team and become the trusted Finance Business Partner to our Grocery Business Unit.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll work alongside senior leaders across Sales, Portfolio, Revenue Growth Management, R&D and Supply Chain to shape commercial strategy, influence key business decisions and drive sustainable growth.
You'll combine commercial insight with financial rigour to identify opportunities, challenge thinking and support strategic decision-making across a dynamic and fast-paced FMCG business. What You Will Do
- Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive profitable growth
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning for the Grocery Business Unit
- Provide commercial insights, financial modelling and strategic analysis to support key investment, pricing, innovation and business decisions
- Evaluate new product development, innovation and private label opportunities, ensuring strong commercial outcomes
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Growth Management teams to optimise pricing, promotional investment and portfolio performance
- Monitor business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Champion financial governance, continuous improvement and best practice across commercial finance processes
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team while building strong cross-functional partnerships across the business
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Leadership within a complex organisation
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic business decisions
- Exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and build trusted relationships
- Advanced financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, business planning and performance reporting
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
- Degree qualified in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline
- CA, CPA or MBA qualification is highly regarded
- FMCG, manufacturing or retail experience will be highly regarded
