About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team on an 18-month maximum term contract. In this role, you’ll lead the technical delivery of a large-scale Payroll and Workforce Management transformation program.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end technical delivery across multiple interconnected workstreams spanning payroll, workforce management, people systems, integrations, reporting and data migration.
Working closely with implementation partners, technology teams and business stakeholders, you will help drive successful planning, design, testing, deployment and go-live activities while ensuring alignment across all technical streams.

What you’ll do
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of the Payroll and Workforce Management transformation program
- Coordinate delivery across payroll, workforce management, integrations, reporting, data migration and people systems workstreams
- Manage program schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and technical governance activities
- Partner with vendors, implementation partners and internal technology teams to ensure successful solution delivery
- Oversee planning and execution of technical testing, deployment, cutover and go-live activities
- Drive alignment across technical and business stakeholders, ensuring delivery milestones are achieved
Provide clear delivery reporting, status updates and recommendations to program leadership

What you’ll bring
- Proven experience delivering payroll and workforce management/time and attendance programs
- Extensive technical project management experience within complex enterprise environments
- Experience delivering integration, data migration and testing and deployment workstreams
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll and workforce management processes and associated implementation risks
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
Strong commercial, planning and problem-solving capability, with the ability to drive outcomes across multiple delivery partners
