About the Role:
The Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager who has a proven track record in project completion and team management, and is enthusiastic and is driven by quality outcomes and safety. You will have the opportunity to work with the leadership team on a variety of projects and inputs for delivery, including constructability, design and methodologies. You will be a team leader, who relishes the development of up-and-coming site engineers, quantity surveyors, and site supervisors, whilst also developing and maintaining client relationships.
Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections and assess subcontractor performance
- Provide technical and administrative support to site teams
- Manage project scheduling and resource allocation, including labour and plant
- Ensure works are compliant with relevant codes and standards
- Liaise with relevant clients and stakeholders
- Review and forecasting of project budgets
- Provide in-depth operational performance reports to leadership throughout reporting cycles
- Coordinate the handover of work to the client
Qualifications and Experience Required
Essential
- Engineering Degree or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager (preferably within the civil construction industry)
- Experience in servicing and negotiating with customers and in contract negotiations
- Sound knowledge of construction and worksite WHS requirements
- Experience working under GC21/AS 4000/ AS2124 contracts
- Excellent computer skills (MS Projects essential)
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
Desirable
- Qualification in Project Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of ISO accreditation standards
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of RMS specifications and processes
