Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within the Peri-Anaesthesia Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialist nursing care, clinical leadership and service excellence across the peri-operative journey by:
Providing advanced clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for patients with complex care needs
Delivering expert anaesthetic nursing care while ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality
Leading and supporting nursing staff through mentorship, clinical guidance and role modelling
Coordinating resources, workflows and patient care activities to optimise service delivery
Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, audits, research and evidence-based practice
Supporting education, professional development and clinical learning within the team
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional peri-anaesthesia care and contributing to a collaborative team environment with:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in anaesthetic nursing practice
Strong clinical decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proven ability to lead, support and develop nursing staff within a multidisciplinary environment
Experience contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families and colleagues
A commitment to person-centred care, professional excellence and continuous learning

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
