Its stores also provide mobile phone and tablet repair and after-sales services to customers.
TECH LIFE PTY LTD currently operates established retail stores in South Australia and the Northern Territory and is continuing to expand its retail network, including the establishment of a new store in Salamander Bay, New South Wales.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the new Salamander Bay store, lead and supervise the retail team, manage sales and stock performance, and ensure the store operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation.
About the Role
The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing the overall retail operations of the store and ensuring that sales, customer service, inventory and operational activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store to achieve sales, service and profitability objectives.
Determine appropriate product mix, stock levels and service standards based on customer demand and business requirements.
Develop and implement purchasing, sales and marketing strategies, including promotional activities and pricing recommendations.
Promote and sell mobile phones, tablets, accessories, screen protectors, cases, chargers, audio products and related services, and advise customers on product selection and use.
Oversee customer service and repair-related services, including enquiries, repair bookings, returns, warranty matters and after-sales support.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, purchasing and financial transactions, and monitor inventory movements.
Undertake budgeting and monitor store revenue, operating expenses and costs to support efficient and profitable operations.
Recruit, train, roster, supervise and motivate retail staff, and monitor staff performance against sales and service objectives.
Oversee merchandising, product displays and promotional materials to maintain appropriate presentation and effective promotion of the store's goods and services.
Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety requirements, consumer obligations and other relevant retail regulations.
Requirements:
Diploma qualification or higher.
Minimum 1 year of relevant retail management or supervisory experience.
Previous experience in mobile phones, telecommunications, consumer electronics, mobile accessories or a similar retail environment is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day retail operations and supervise a small retail team.
Competent computer skills and familiarity with POS systems, inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
Good understanding of inventory management, merchandising and retail sales processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
Bilingual communication skills are preferred
