Are you passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and delivering high-quality food? Novotel Surfers Paradise is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Demi Chef to join our dynamic Kitchen brigade.
What You'll Be Doing..
As a Demi Chef, you will play an important role in supporting our culinary operations by:

Assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.

Supporting the Chef de Partie and broader kitchen team with daily operations.

Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.

Managing stock rotation and minimising food wastage.
-
Contributing ideas to enhance menu offerings and guest experiences.

Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For...
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment.

Relevant culinary qualifications.
-
Previous experience in conference, events, banquets and a high-volume buffet breakfast operation highly desired.

Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
