About the Opportunity
Do you have a passion for precision, creativity and creating memorable sweet moments? We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our professional team, in one of Victoria’s most scenic locations.

As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will deliver high‑quality desserts, pastries and baked goods for the resort’s restaurants, room service and conference and event operations. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will ensure consistency, efficiency and exceptional presentation across all service areas. Your key responsibilities will include:
Produce desserts, pastries and baked goods
Operate within the main kitchen, managing à la carte preparation
Support daily service with timely, high‑quality output
Assist with menu development and seasonal concepts
Manage mise en place, stock control and waste reduction
Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards at all times
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen and resort team to enhance service delivery and guest satisfaction
What You’ll Bring
Completed a Certificate III in Patisserie qualification, essential
Availability to work a flexible 7-day rotating roster, weekdays, weekends, evenings & public holidays
Proven experience in a pastry section within a commercial kitchen, 4–5‑star hotel or similar
Strong foundation in pastry techniques including tempering chocolate, sponges, cream, meringue, mousses, gels and glazes
Excellent knowledge of mise en place, stock rotation, cleaning and hygiene procedures
Strong time management skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure
Demonstrated commitment to quality, consistency and attention to detail
