We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our Brisbane North teams. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving clinic performance, leading our administration teams, and supporting clinical staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
This role will service the Everton Park and North West Private Hospital clinics.

About the Role
The Practice Manager is responsible for the day to day operational leadership of the clinics, ensuring safe, efficient and effective service delivery. You will work closely with the clinical team to optimise workflows, improve patient experience, and drive performance outcomes.
While strategic direction is set by operational leaders, this role ensures those priorities are implemented effectively at the clinic level. It involves coordinating day-to-day operations, leading a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining a strong focus on patient experience, compliance, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires balancing competing demands — patient care, workflow efficiency, and team engagement while fostering collaboration between clinical and clerical teams. Success depends on clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to guide the teams through change with a positive, growth-oriented mindset. The Practice Manager leads by example, translating organisational expectations into practical actions that create a safe, professional, and high-performing clinic environment.
Clinic Operations
- Lead and support the effective day to day running of the clinic
- Drive optimisation of bookings, rostering, and clinic utilisation
- Ensure compliance with billing, invoicing, and operational standards
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency
- Support workforce planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure a seamless end to end patient journey
- Maintain high standards of customer service and patient care
- Manage patient feedback, complaints, and service recovery
- Embed consistent processes and workflows across the clinic
Leadership & Team Development
- Support recruitment, onboarding.
- Drive team engagement, performance, and accountability
- Partner with clinical leaders to support a collaborative team environment
- Lead and support change initiatives across the clinic
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to WH&S, privacy, and quality standards
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or service environment
- Strong operational and organisational skills
- Proven experience in radiology services or hospital management is essential.
- Ability to lead, engage and develop high performing teams
- A focus on patient experience and service excellence
- Experience in rostering, workforce planning, and clinic optimisation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
