The role:
- All forms of general Fabrication
- Welding frames, bullbars, bracketry
- MIG, & TIG Welding - 1.5mm to 12mm
- Mild, Stainless & Aluminium material
- Press Brake Operations & Bending
- Dry fitting and fine tuning
- Quality automotive finishes
- Design and fitting feedback with internal drafts people
- Share in volume target bonus
- New workshop offering a clean environment to take your creative skills to the next level
- Fitting of manufactured truck components
- Fitting of accessories
- Fitting of Hydraulic PTO’s, Pumps etc
- Electrical accessory fitting knowledge
- Basic pneumatic knowledge
- General housekeeping duties
The candidate:
- Trade Qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting, or Boilermaking
- Background in Automotive - Advantageous
- Ability to execute 6am starts and 4pm finishes
- High level attention to detail
- Problem solving ability
- Forklift License - Advantageous
- Exposure to CAD - Advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
