What would I be doing?
As a Marketing Specialist, you will help bring CPL's brand to life through content that is meaningful, engaging and easy to connect with.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys storytelling across different channels and wants to use their creativity to share the positive impact CPL has in the community every day.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist, Digital Marketing Manager and broader team, you will help create, coordinate and publish engaging content that connects with our audiences and brings CPL’s brand to life.
This will include:

Planning, developing, and delivering marketing and communication activities that support CPL’s organisational and brand objectives.
- Creating engaging, audience-focused content across digital, social media, websites and internal communication channels.
- Supporting content development from ideation to production, approvals, publishing, and evaluation.
- Coordinating marketing tasks including planning, content development, production, execution, and evaluation, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitoring content and campaign performance to support future improvements.

What you’ll need
- Experience or a strong interest in creating engaging digital and social media content for a variety of audiences and communication channels.
- Strong writing, editing and content creation skills, with an interest in storytelling and what makes people connect with content.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, manage deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Confidence using some or all:
- Content Management Systems (Drupal and WordPress preferred); basic HTML and CSS skills highly regarded
- Social media platforms and management tools
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Adobe Creative Suite (including photo and video editing), Canva or similar tools.
- A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
- A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
- Great listening and respectful communication skills.
- Current 'C' class driver;s licence with regular access to a vehicle.
- A Working with Children Check, Blue Card in Queensland.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
