Melbourne Sports Institute is currently recruiting enthusiastic Basketball Referees to join our team for Inter School Sport Competitions in Term 4 2026.
We are currently recruiting basketball referees to work with our client schools located in the following and surrounding suburbs: Frankston, Carrum Downs, Sandhurst, Aspendale, Bonbeach, Patterson Lakes, Bangholme, Seaford, Langwarrin, Mornington, Mount Eliza, Mount Martha, Dromana, Rosebud, Tyabb and Somerville.
We offer competitive rates starting from $40 per match with opportunities for back-to-back games!
The season runs throughout Term 4, from early October till early December.
Fixtures are played on Thursday and Friday afternoons between 12:00pm – 3:30pm.
Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further refereeing opportunities throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
- Have a sound understanding of basketball rules
- Possess experience in playing, coaching or refereeing the sport
