The primary purpose of this role is to support the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) and divisional leadership team across a range of initiatives from the coordination and triage of divisional priorities, projects, managing communications with stakeholders, through to the coordinating and reporting on key strategic initiatives. The position is a 12 month fixed-term contract .
About the role
- Work closely with the CPCO on all matters relating to the running of the People and Culture function at Allianz.
- Lead the development of the divisional strategy in close collaboration with the leadership team and enterprise strategy functions.
- Manage the effective coordination and reporting of People and Culture strategic initiatives and performance by working closely with CPCO and General Managers.
- Plan and coordinate the Human Resources leadership team meetings, strategy reviews, business plan reviews and budget reviews.
- Demonstrate flexibility for tasks/initiatives that assist the CPCO in delivering on the business plan, the strategic objectives and commitments to the Managing Director, Allianz Group or the Board.
- Provide oversight and reporting on Human Resources strategic projects to support successful delivery of strategic priorities.
- Support the CPCO in managing Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) compliance with the accountability statements, including managing the delivery and recording/storage of key documents evidencing Reasonable Steps.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant business discipline.
- Detailed understanding of business operations in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively particularlydelivering on business plans, strategic objectives, and commitments to Senior Leadership, including the Managing Director and the Board.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations.
- Demonstrates experience in solving complex business issues.
- Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
