About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Marketing & Communication Officer to join our APAC Life Sciences team in Scoresby, Melbourne.
This role is ideal for someone ready to put creative ideas into action – building employee internal engagement and delivering strategic, audience-led marketing that connects with our people and our clients across a range of communication channels.
The day to day
In this role, you'll:
Deliver communication plans that support the priorities of the APAC Life Sciences business
Lead internal communication initiatives in partnership with senior leadership
Tailor messaging and content to suit a range of internal and external audiences, including educational and promotional content
Support regional marketing campaigns, events and promotional activities
Plan and create content for newsletters, blogs, video, social media, and email campaigns
Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen brand awareness and market visibility, ensuring consistency with ALS’ brand guidelines
Coordinate delivery of events and conferences, as well as internal engagement activities
Manage content calendars and scheduling across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and SharePoint
Collaborate with Group Communication and Marketing teams to align local activity with global standards and guidelines
Monitor, measure and report on digital engagement and campaign performance.
The Essentials
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring commercial acumen, operational leadership, and a people-first approach. In addition, you will have:
Qualifications and/or experience in marketing, communications, or related disciplines
Proven ability to develop a wide range of promotional materials for diverse audiences
Experience executing digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, and social media
Excellent writing, editing, and reporting skills tailored for multiple formats and platforms
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated understanding of communication tools, channels, and campaign execution.
