As a Client Reporting Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely reporting and exceptional service to some of Wotton Kearney's largest clients. Working closely with lawyers, practice administrators, finance teams and client leads, you'll help ensure reporting obligations, compliance requirements and service commitments are met, while building strong relationships across the business.
We're looking for someone with client reporting experience within a law firm or professional services environment who thrives on accuracy, deadlines and stakeholder management. Beyond reporting, you'll oversee key matter management processes, monitor SLA performance, support audits and help drive continuous improvement across our reporting function. You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with our evolving in-house systems and processes, contributing to enhancements that improve data quality, reporting accuracy and the overall client experience.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of client reporting, ensuring information is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
- Gather, analyse and quality-check reporting data from lawyers, practice administrators and finance teams.
- Manage client-specific reporting requirements and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
- Coordinate annual financial audits for government clients.
- Produce detailed matter status, billing and client reports through varying systems.
- Monitor and manage SLA compliance, KPI deadlines and reporting obligations.
- Maintain compliance registers, dashboards and reporting records.
- Support matter opening, matter distribution, file closures and client set-up processes.
- Provide reporting and SLA process guidance to lawyers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy and client experience.
- Work closely with BDM, Finance, Legal Operations and Practice Teams to support reporting outcomes.
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated client reporting experience within a law firm or professional services environment is essential.
- Experience managing reporting obligations, service levels, KPIs or client deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain high levels of accuracy across financial and operational reporting.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict reporting deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills. Experience with Aderant, legal practice management systems or reporting platforms is highly regarded.
- Confidence engaging with lawyers, partners, finance teams, administrators and external stakeholders.
- The ability to proactively follow up, influence outcomes and ensure deadlines are met.
