Position Overview:
Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay! Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared and beautifully presented food. As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager you will provide supportive functional assistance to the Restaurant and Bar team in the Lovedale Brewbar; lead seamless guest experience and provide support to colleagues within the department. You may be required to supervise other Food & Beverage outlets as requested.

Key Accountabilities
- Supervise and coordinate the front-of-house operations of the Lovedale Brewbar, ensuring all service aspects meet the venue's high standards and guest expectations.
- Lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence in customer service, enhancing team performance and guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as venue policies and procedures, to uphold a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.
- Collaborate with the Venue Manager in budgeting and financial management, providing insights into operational performance and cost control.
- Assist in planning and executing events, coordinating logistics and staff assignments to ensure seamless operations.
Skills and Experience:
- Significant experience in hospitality management, particularly in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or bar environment.
- Previous experience in a busy bar, pub, restaurant, brewery, cellar door, or hospitality environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to the hospitality industry.
