Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT is seeking customer-focused Service Advisor to support our busy service department. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for service enquiries and play a key part in coordinating work, processing documentation, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
We welcome applications from applicants seeking a career change from similar customer support roles in an industrial background. Training can be provided on the specific tool required to complete your job.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist the Service Manager or Assistant Operations Manager with customer calls.
· Help interpret specific customer issues by gathering detailed information for diagnosis and repair.
· Provide quick, courteous service to all customers.
· Suggest additional services that can be performed at the same time.
· Estimate costs and completion times for jobs.
· Handle invoice processing, including opening and closing jobs.
· Create purchase orders, enter them into the system, and authorise payments.
· Allocate hours worked to repair orders.
Required Skills & Experience
· Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in managing departmental administration.
· Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers and suppliers.
· Familiarity with a Dealer Management System; Microsoft Dynamics BC experience is a plus.
· Capable of generating system reports on services.
· Strong attention to detail and adherence to company policies.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
