Chef Position at Aromas of India - Full Time (38 Hours/Week)
Location: Aromas of India, Nerang, QLD
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum
Shifts: Rotating Monday to Sunday

Qualifications & Experience:
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
Job Duties:
- Plan and design exciting menus while estimating food and labor costs.
- Oversee the ordering of food supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor dish quality at every stage, from preparation to presentation.
- Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to discuss food preparation and address any issues.
- Demonstrate expert cooking techniques and provide advice on preparation procedures.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and cooked to perfection.
- Enforce strict hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed.
- Handle food preservation and freezing where applicable.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in menu planning and food costing.
- Strong ability to monitor and maintain quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management.
- Expertise in cooking techniques and food preparation.
