As a Mountain Bike Guide you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service by always greeting customers in a positive and friendly manner. You will be required to familiarise yourself with Thredbo’s wide variety of mountain biking & summer activities products so you can provide the customer with accurate recommendations.
About the role
- Provide biking lessons, clinics & tours
- Assist with the daily operations of the Thredbo MTB operations
- Assist the MTB Trail Crew with trail maintenance
- Assist with retail sales, rental fit-out and event operations
- Support rental fleet servicing, maintenance and customer repair jobs
- Provide information on Thredbo, Kosciuszko National Park and the surrounding areas
Skills & Experience
- Intermediate to advanced level gravity mountain biker rider
- First Aid Certificate Level 1
- Professional Mountain Bike Level 1 Certificate/Level 1 PMBI/Equivalent in-house training
- Experienced in bike servicing and maintenance
- Passionate about Thredbo, Kosciuszko National Park and the alpine region
- NSW Working With Children’s Check
