We are seeking a Supervisor to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project, driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. We are seeking experienced professionals with a track record of delivering data centre projects and an understanding of the complexities of hyperscale and enterprise-grade environments. Your Opportunity
Join a major data centre project in Melbourne, where you'll play a key role in coordinating site activities and leading trades, subcontractors and labour teams to deliver work safely, to a high standard and on schedule.
Reporting to the Superintendent, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements
- Leading and supervising trades, subcontractors and labour teams across your allocated work areas
- Monitoring construction progress and proactively addressing issues that may impact quality, safety or productivity
- Ensuring all personnel are appropriately inducted and compliant with site requirements before commencing work
- Maintaining strong standards of safety, quality and environmental performance across the site
- Managing site logistics, including deliveries, material storage, plant movements, site security and housekeeping
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements to support successful project delivery
- Supporting short-term planning and resource coordination to keep works progressing to schedule
What You'll Bring
- AQF Certificate II in Construction or a relevant trade qualification
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or similar site-based leadership role
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, drawings and project specifications
- Experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, materials and plant within a live construction environment
- Ability to plan ahead, monitor resources and drive productivity across your work fronts
- Sound understanding of safety, quality and environmental requirements on major construction projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build positive relationships on site
