Available as either a 6- or 12-month program , the Fellowship combines dedicated subspecialty training with consultant reporting time, enabling Fellows to develop advanced MRI expertise while working alongside some of Australia's leading imaging specialists. Under the guidance of Fellowship-trained subspecialist radiologists, Fellows receive tailored mentorship and are encouraged to actively participate in research throughout the program.
This fellowship offers broad exposure to medical and surgical pathology across neurological, musculoskeletal, and body imaging, with a strong emphasis on musculoskeletal MRI.
Training is delivered across a diverse range of high-volume clinical settings, including major private hospitals and specialist outpatient practices:
- I-MED Radiology Moorabbin – stand-alone practice specialising in urology, oncology and research trials; 1.5T Siemens MRI
- I-MED Radiology Mulgrave - services Mulgrave Private Hospital, which includes an emergency department and supports a large range of subspecialty surgical units; 1.5T Siemens MRI
- I-MED Radiology Box Hill - forms part of Eastern Epworth Hospital with a comprehensive range of examinations covering both inpatient and outpatient services; 2 Siemens MRIs (1.5T and 3T)
