An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Works Coordinator (Civil) to join Service Stream
Service Stream’s Utilities Division is currently seeking twoWorks Coordinators to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the Civil Maintenance team by coordinating operational and logistical administration, including the effective scheduling and dispatch of resources. You will be responsible for completing quality assurance and control checks on work orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all activities.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the program of works, supporting the achievement of contract KPIs and internal performance measures through strong coordination, attention to detail, and proactive management of workflows.

Reporting Line: Lead Works Coordinator
Key Responsibilities

Take calls and dispatch resources in consultation with Supervisors during business hours

Receive and coordinate emergency calls and schedule works to meet response time requirements

Manage end-to-end job management through a specialised systems environment; actioning any resultant works required, and ensuring job closure

Liaise with field resources and Supervisors to ensure work is completed within required time frames, including raising additional works as required

Coordinate tools, equipment and services for repairs, calibration, inspections, vehicle maintenance and stocktaking, including receiving and dispatching critical spares

Maintain productivity monitoring records and report issues/anomalies to management

Run daily reports

Completion of task allocation / work orders to meet all client, customer and business objectives
About You

Previous experience in a similar role

Previous water industry experience (desirable)

Working knowledge of dispatch, works scheduling and/or planning relating software

Working knowledge of Asset Management Software (Maximo desirable)

Excellent provision of customer service

Professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner

Well-developed organisational and administration skills
