The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team for local work deliveries.
You’ll be transporting a mix of steel, timber, aluminium and containers. This role will be based in Coopers Plains & the runs are Brisbane Metro delivering and picking up from rail yards and customer sites.
Full training will be provided including load restraint and buddy training with an experienced driver. Afternoon and day roles available.
You will:
The load for this role will be varied, transporting either steel, aluminium, timber or containers
Rail and Wharf work
Adhering to safety and compliance policies and procedures
A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to.
What you’ll bring:
Strong HC driving experience and desire to upgrade your skills to MC (support provided!) or strong MC experience.
A good knowledge of Brisbane metro locations and an understanding of load restraint or willingness to learn.
You will have:
MC license preferred- have strong HC experience? K&S will train the right candidate to drive MC!
Forklift licence advantageous. Don’t have one? K&S will cover your ticket after you pass probation
You have an MSIC license or are willing to obtain
You’re reliable, responsible and will approach to your working day with a positive attitude
Your commitment to safety is exceptional
Self-motivated and able to work in a small team
You can follow instructions, and communicate effectively
