Blackbook AI is a data and AI consultancy working with enterprise clients across Australia and North America. We're a Databricks, Microsoft, AWS and UiPath partner, delivering data platforms, AI and agentic solutions, and intelligent automation.
We're growing our Sydney delivery team and looking for Project Managers who can own a technical engagement end to end, commercials included.
What you'll do
- Own delivery of client engagements from scoping through to handover
- Plan, resource and track projects against budget, timeline and commercial targets
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations throughout delivery
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across data engineering, AI and automation
- Track burn, risk, dependencies and scope, and raise issues early rather than at the end
- Identify scope extensions and follow-on opportunities within accounts
What we're looking for
- 5+ years managing technology projects, ideally in a consulting or vendor environment
- Track record delivering data, cloud, AI or automation projects
- Commercial literacy: comfortable owning a budget and explaining variance to a client
- Confident managing senior client stakeholders directly
- Agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery experience (most of our work is a blend)
- Australian work rights
Nice to have
- Delivery experience on Databricks, Azure or AWS platform builds
- RPA or intelligent automation project experience
- Relevant certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum)
