As our operations continue to develop, we are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Organisation and Methods Analyst to join our team. This position will play an important role in reviewing our organisational systems, operational processes and working methods and developing practical solutions to improve efficiency, productivity and business performance.
About the Role
The Organisation and Methods Analyst will work closely with management and key stakeholders to analyse existing organisational structures, business processes, systems and procedures.
The successful candidate will identify operational inefficiencies, evaluate business requirements and recommend improved methods, systems and workflows to support SynapVex's technology-driven operations and ongoing business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Analysing and evaluating SynapVex's organisational structures, operational procedures, workflows and business processes;
- Reviewing existing systems and work practices to identify inefficiencies, duplication, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement;
- Consulting with management and relevant stakeholders to understand organisational objectives, operational requirements and business challenges;
- Conducting detailed analysis of current business processes and recommending improved methods, procedures and organisational systems;
- Assisting management in developing and implementing improved organisational policies, procedures and operational methods;
- Analysing workflow requirements across technology, product development, administration and business operations;
- Developing process maps, workflow models, standard operating procedures and other organisational documentation;
- Evaluating existing business systems and recommending improvements to increase operational efficiency and productivity;
- Identifying opportunities for automation, digitisation and improved integration of business processes and systems;
- Supporting the implementation of new technology-enabled processes and organisational systems;
- Reviewing internal information flows, reporting structures and communication processes and recommending improvements;
- Conducting organisational studies and analysing operational data to identify trends, performance gaps and areas requiring improvement;
- Developing performance measures and methods for monitoring the effectiveness of implemented organisational changes;
- Assisting with change management initiatives associated with new systems, processes and operational procedures;
- Reviewing the effectiveness of implemented changes and recommending further improvements where required;
- Preparing reports, recommendations, business process documentation and presentations for management;
- Providing advice to management on organisational methods, operational efficiency and process optimisation;
- Liaising with technical teams and other stakeholders to ensure organisational requirements are appropriately incorporated into technology and system solutions; and
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across SynapVex's operations.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business/Accounting, Business Information Systems, Management, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience;
- Relevant professional experience in business analysis, organisational analysis, process improvement, management consulting, systems analysis or a related field;
- Demonstrated experience analysing organisational processes, systems, procedures and workflows;
- Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and developing practical process-improvement solutions;
- Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate findings into clear recommendations;
- Experience preparing process documentation, workflow diagrams, reports and procedural documents;
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving capabilities;
- Good understanding of business process improvement and organisational change methodologies;
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills; and
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience working within a technology, software, digital services, AI, automation or technology product environment will be highly regarded.
Salary and Employment Conditions
Annual Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 + superannuation
The final remuneration offered will be determined according to the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and relevant professional experience.
This is a full-time, ongoing position working 38 hours per week.
