We are a growing transport and logistics company specialising in refrigerated warehousing. We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and ensure our operations run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
About the Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, supporting and guiding the team to ensure freight is received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining a safe, organised and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and support the warehouse team.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities and allocate workloads.
- Ensure inbound and outbound freight is processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain stock accuracy and oversee inventory control.
- Promote a safe, clean and compliant warehouse environment.
- Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaise with customers, drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete general warehouse administration and reporting.
- Lead by example and foster a positive team culture.
About You
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse team.
- Experience within transport, warehousing or logistics.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience using warehouse or transport management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style.
Desirable
- Experience in refrigerated warehousing or cold chain logistics.
- Knowledge of food safety and warehouse compliance requirements.
