About the role:
Reporting to the IT Helpdesk Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, help desk tickets, and/or emails regarding PC and/or hardware problems of both onsite and offsite team members.
- Work with end-users in analysing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software and some basic network support issues.
- Assisting with onboarding and support of new employees.
- Installing, configuring and/or upgrading computer hardware, software, printers and scanners.
- Maintain and update existing documentation, including user guides and IT processes.
- Research, gather and form documentations from collected information to IT related topics.
- Perform ad hoc tasks when required by the Management team.
About you:
As a Helpdesk Support Officer, you will ideally have.
- Recently completed or studying towards completion of an IT related discipline.
- Must have full working rights in Australia to apply.
- Ability to work well in a team environment involving collaboration within the department and with other departments.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, peripherals and computer hardware.
- Knowledge of Windows 11, Linux, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Active Directory and VMWare would be highly appreciated.
- Strong Troubleshooting capabilities evidenced by organized, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
