About The Role
The Senior Corporate Accountant’s role main goal is to assist with and be responsible for the execution of technical and specialist finance workstreams for the organisation in a timely and accurate manner whilst also collaborating with key corporate and operational finance teams.
You will also contribute to the successful integration of new businesses by ensuring finance, tax and compliance matters are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
Other key responsibilities will include:

Provide internal stewardship on technical accounting topics and issues

Liaise, communicate and manage workstreams with external consultants

Assist in tax reporting and obligations

Assist in compliance workstreams

Form part of the team integrating new businesses

Participate in finance projects to improve efficiency and improvement
This permanent full-time position sits as part of the group corporate finance team and the centralized finance functions, based at our Head Office in Adelaide’s CBD.
About You
You are a technically strong accounting professional with a formal accounting degree, Chartered Accounting qualification and approximately 4–5 years’ practical experience, ideally including exposure to a commercial environment. You bring sound experience preparing technical accounting memorandums and assessing complex matters such as hedging, purchase price accounting, intangibles and impairment testing.
You are familiar with working in large group environments and bring strong technical accounting knowledge, with corporate tax knowledge considered highly desirable. Experience with, or exposure to, large ERP systems will support your success in this role.
You will be collaborative, team-oriented and confident working with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your strong interpersonal skills, high attention to detail and proactive approach will help you contribute to accurate, timely finance, tax and compliance outcomes.
