Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure EverAbility’s facilities are safe, fit-for-purpose and responsive to operational needs.
Drive proactive facilities and asset management practices that reduce risk and minimise downtime.
Coordinate value-for-money and high-quality maintenance and facilities works, delivered on time, within scope and to high standard, whilst minimising disruption.
Proactively identify, assess and mitigate facilities-related hazards to create safe environments for staff, clients and visitors in line with WHS legislation, relevant codes and organisational policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement in safety and compliance performance by providing timely, accurate input into risk management, reporting and WHS initiatives.
Support effective facilities planning and financial sustainability by contributing to budget development, monitoring expenditure and identifying cost efficiencies.
Provide informed, practical advice to leaders and staff on facilities, property and security matters to support sound decision-making.
Skills and Experiences:
Essential Skills:
- Broad knowledge and practical understanding of building maintenance and associated trades.
- Experience administering property maintenance across multiple sites or facilities.
- Strong understanding of WHS obligations, building compliance requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to plan, prioritise tasks and respond effectively to competing demands.
- Strong customer service focus with sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience contributing to facilities or maintenance budget management.
Trade qualification or relevant facilities certification
Required Compliance Documents:
National Police Clearance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid Driver’s License
Annual Influenza Vaccination
