Contract Term: Long Term /ongoing
Pay: From $40 per hour depending on experience (casual contract with leave loading)
Schedule: Full-time enrolment between Monday - Friday, with days and hours to be negotiated with the right candidate

This warm, loving and active family are seeking a full-time nanny to become a trusted and valued part of their family for the long term. The role will initially focus on supporting the 3-year-old, with the successful nanny also becoming an important support to the family as they welcome their new baby in November.
They are looking for a warm, positive, energetic and genuinely engaging nanny who is proactive, creative and highly experienced with newborns/infants and toddlers. The nanny will provide nurturing, attentive care while planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities, supporting routines, preparing meals and snacks, and helping keep the home organised.
As the family grows, the role will naturally evolve to include care and support for both children. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of family life and is happy to build a strong, long-term relationship with the children.

Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for the 3-year-old and, once the baby arrives, both children

Supporting the family as they transition to life with a newborn

Planning and organising age-appropriate educational and developmental activities

Engaging the children through arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play and outdoor activities

Taking the children to playgrounds, classes and other outings
-
Supporting children s routines, meals, snacks and naps
-
Encouraging independence, curiosity, creativity and learning

Providing gentle but consistent boundaries

Helping maintain a calm, positive and nurturing environment

Taking initiative and being proactive with the children s daily activities

Supporting the family with occasional changes to the routine
Travel internationally with the family twice a year to Europe including being away from home for around 3 weeks at a time.

The children will always be the main priority, however, when time allows, helping to keep the home tidy and organised will be greatly appreciated and provide valuable support with the day-to-day running of the family home.
Responsibilities may include:

Keeping the kitchen tidy

Loading and unloading the dishwasher

Folding and putting away laundry

Keeping cupboards and storage areas organised

Toy rotation and organisation

Tidying play areas and children s bedrooms

Managing the children s laundry

General light cleaning and organisation as required
The family has separate household help for deeper cleaning, so the focus will remain on the children and providing light household support when time allows.

The role is full-time, with the exact days and hours to be negotiated with the successful candidate. Flexibility is important, including occasional changes to the routine and international travel with the family approximately twice a year to Europe for 3 weeks at a time.
