Position Title: Full-Time Chef
Location: Lennox Head, NSW
Salary: Above award wage per annum + superannuation (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours/week)

The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Chef to join our culinary team. Working as the Chef you will be deeply involved in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and service. We encourage creativity, and seasonal menu's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste and portion control.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage a kitchen and kitchen staff during prep/service, ensuring timely food output and smooth kitchen flow.
- Menu Development: menu planning, seasonal changes, and designing specials.
- Hygiene & Safety: Strictly adhere to, and enforce, Australian food safety, hygiene, and OHS regulations.
- Inventory & Stock: Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients to minimize wastage, and ordering.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food costs, stock control, and kitchen administration.
- A current and valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure

Pay: $56,379.37 – $85,373.24 per year
