Your impact
As a Boilermaker with Newmont, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a large fixed plant processing environment. Your work will directly support the safe and efficient delivery of our milling production targets of 40.5MTPA, contributing to overall site performance and operational success.
As part of our team you will

Monitor, maintain and repair equipment across a large-scale process plant

Carry out planned maintenance (PM) inspections across all processing areas
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure plant reliability and safety standards are maintained

Support safe and efficient production across key plant areas, including:

Crushing circuit
-
Milling circuit
-
Flotation circuit
-
Screening and cyclones
-
Filtering and reagents
-
Carbon in Leach (CIL) circuit
-
Carbon regeneration and elution
-
Water services
-
Operate a range of plant equipment, including:
-
Elevated Work Platforms (EWP)
-
Forklifts
-
Overhead cranes
-
Dogging, basic rigging and Hiab
Prerequisites for your success in the role

Boilermaker Trade Qualification
-
Demonstrated maintenance experience in a large process plant environment
-
Strong computer literacy skills
-
Experience working with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)

High Risk Licences:

Forklift
-
Elevated Work Platform
-
Dogging/Rigging (preferred)
-
Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights certifications (preferred)

Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Your work environment
This role is based at Boddington Gold Mine and operates on an 8:6 roster, offering a balanced lifestyle while working within a large-scale fixed plant processing operation.
You will be part of a high-performing maintenance team supporting a complex gold processing environment that prioritises safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. The role provides exposure across multiple circuits within the plant, offering varied and hands-on experience to further develop your technical skills.
