DVL Accounting is a Professional Practice firm located on the Southside. We are currently seeking a Graduate to intermediate Accountant to join our growing team.
The firm is focused on providing SBE entities with Tax & Business Services advice and strategies, as well as Superannuation and Value-Added Business Advisory.

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be involved in tax and accounting compliance, strategic business/finance advice to clients, business development strategies for the firm.
About the role
You will be responsible for:
- Build good rapport with clients, with a clear understanding of client expectations and achieving high levels of client service
- Preparation of financial statements for all entities across a diverse industry base.
- BAS/ FBT/ GST preparation
- Complete year end matters for all entities
- Complete Business & Instalment Activity Statements
- Assist with the various tax planning work
- Liaise strongly with clients through meetings, phone calls and emails

Skills and experience
The right person will:
- Studying towards a CA/CPA qualification or qualified
- Work without supervision
- Be self-motivated and driven to produce high quality work
- Enjoy working in a flat team structure
- Be interested in researching and solving issues
- Have at least 1 year experience in an Australian accounting firm, preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns
- Must have permanent residency and live in Brisbane, Australia

Pay: $44,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

- Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
- Accounting and Taxation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Accounting software eg. Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks: 1 year (Preferred)
