Where the CampaignAgent Sales team fits in
The CampaignAgent Sales team is responsible for acquiring, activating and growing real estate agencies across Australia onto CampaignAgent’s platform and funding solutions. Working closely with Success, Integrations, Product, Marketing and Credit, the team focuses on:
Winning high‑value offices and groups in each state
Managing and growing partnerships & key customers
Driving utilisation and funded value across existing customers
Ensuring CampaignAgent is positioned as a trusted, long‑term partner for our agencies
Keeping a close eye on churn risk & customer relationships
The State Manager role is a senior individual contributor within the Sales team, accountable for end‑to‑end commercial outcomes in their state – from pipeline development and acquisition through to utilisation and ongoing growth, in partnership with Success.
What the role is all about
The CampaignAgent State Manager is responsible for delivering state‑level revenue and utilisation outcomes by acquiring, onboarding and growing real estate agencies within a defined state territory.
This role owns the full commercial performance of Queensland, including new office acquisition, funded value growth, utilisation uplift and overall pipeline health. The State Manager is a senior, hands‑on seller who combines strategic territory planning with disciplined execution – from prospecting and lead generation through to deal negotiation, onboarding handover, and ongoing portfolio management for key accounts.
The role works closely with the Head of Sales – CampaignAgent, the Success team and broader REA Residential/Commercial sales organisation to ensure CampaignAgent is embedded into the way agencies fund and run their campaigns.
Key responsibilities
1. Territory ownership & go‑to‑market
Own the end‑to‑end commercial performance for the Queensland state territory, aligned to annual and half‑year targets
Develop and execute a territory plan that balances high‑value group/office acquisition with depth and utilisation growth across existing customers
Segment the market by listing volume, network/group, and strategic importance to prioritise effort and resource
Maintain a visible, rolling pipeline aligned to agreed runway and listing opportunity for the state
2. New customer acquisition
Source, qualify and close new high‑value agencies and groups in line with ideal client guidelines (e.g. minimum listings / AFR thresholds)
Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, pitch, commercial proposal, negotiation and close
Lead state‑based sales motions in partnership with REA Residential/Commercial sales where joint opportunities exist
Coordinate with Marketing and BDS/lead‑gen resources to ensure a healthy volume of quality opportunities into the top of funnel
3. Portfolio management & growth
Act as primary commercial owner for key offices and groups within the state
Partner with Customer Success to drive utilisation uplift, funded value growth and product cross‑sell within existing customers
Regularly review performance by office (e.g. listings, utilisation, pay‑later mix, funded value) and agree joint growth plans with Success
Identify and manage risk in the portfolio (e.g. churn signals, utilisation decline) and put recovery plans in place
4. Lead generation & collaboration
Work closely with Business Development and Success team members on state‑specific lead‑gen pods and audience splits
Ensure all activity is logged in HubSpot in line with process standards (pipeline hygiene, stage usage, notes and next steps)
Collaborate with Integration & HubSpot Process Manager to maintain clean data and accurate reporting for the state
Share market insights, competitive intelligence and customer feedback with Product, Marketing and leadership
5. Execution discipline & ways of working
Work to a structured rhythm of weekly planning, pipeline reviews, customer meetings and follow‑ups
Use CampaignAgent and REA tools (HubSpot, Looker/Tableau, internal dashboards) to track performance and make data‑led decisions
Prepare and present state performance updates and forecasts to the Head of Sales and broader leadership as required
Role‑model CampaignAgent’s sales standards, including quality of proposals, commercial discipline and cross‑functional collaboration
6. Compliance, risk & governance
Operate in line with CampaignAgent’s credit, compliance and responsible lending frameworks
Ensure accurate representation of product features, fees and obligations in all customer conversations
Partner with Credit, Compliance and Customer Support on any escalations, ensuring timely and professional resolution
What we’re looking for
Strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within real estate, prop‑tech, SaaS or financial services
Proven experience owning a territory or state with clear revenue and pipeline accountability
Comfortable running complex, multi‑stakeholder deals (principals, directors, operations, marketing and finance)
Strong commercial acumen – able to interpret listing data, AFR, utilisation and revenue levers to prioritise effort
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for principals, agents and internal stakeholders
Disciplined operator with experience using CRM (ideally HubSpot) and sales tooling to manage pipeline and forecast accurately
Collaborative by default – works closely with Success, Integrations and REA Sales to deliver a seamless experience for customers
Resilient, growth‑oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a fast‑moving, scale‑up environment
