Team Leader | Experienced Gardener | Mowing Team Member | Landscaping/One-Off Works Team
GreenGrass Lawns and Landscapes is growing, and we are looking for great people to join our team.
We have multiple roles available across garden maintenance, mowing, team leadership, and landscaping/one-off project work. The right role will depend on your experience, strengths and attitude.
We are interested in speaking with experienced gardeners, team leaders, mowing team members, landscaping team members, and reliable people with transferable outdoor, trade, labouring or maintenance experience.

About the work
Depending on your role, your work may include:
- Lawn mowing, edging and brushcutting
- Hedging, pruning, weeding, mulching and plant care
- Planting, turfing and lawn rejuvenation
- Garden clean-ups, landscape improvements and one-off project work
- Weed control and herbicide application
- Equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Communicating job updates through our systems
For Team Leader applicants, the role may also include coordinating a small crew, planning the day’s work, maintaining standards on site, supporting team members, and communicating with management and the office.
Who we are looking for
The right attitude matters as much as experience.
You will be a good fit if you are reliable, physically fit, safety-conscious, proud of your work, and able to work well as part of a team. We are looking for people who communicate respectfully, notice the details, follow systems, and want to keep learning.
Previous experience in garden maintenance, parks and gardens, landscaping, horticulture, lawn care, or similar work is highly regarded. Qualifications such as Certificate III in Parks and Gardens, Horticulture or Landscaping are also highly regarded, but not essential for every role.
Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current Class C driver’s licence (manual licence preferred)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check
- Physical fitness for outdoor manual work
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Depending on the role, you may also need to hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid qualification, herbicide application accreditation or chainsaw accreditation.
