We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help take our restaurant to the next level.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Group Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including:
- Leading and inspiring a team of chefs, cooks and kitchen hands.
- Managing daily kitchen operations while maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency.
- Developing seasonal menus and premium steakhouse specials.
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared to AGED. standards.
- Managing food costs, labour costs and kitchen profitability.
- Maintaining stock control, ordering and rostering.
- Implementing and maintaining food safety, HACCP and hygiene compliance.
- Recruiting, training and mentoring kitchen staff.
- Creating kitchen procedures, recipes and standard operating procedures.
- Working closely with management on menu development and business growth.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and highly efficient kitchen.
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
- Experience in premium restaurants or steakhouses.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of premium beef, grilling techniques and modern Australian cuisine.
- Proven experience managing food and labour costs.
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Experience with ordering, inventory and supplier management.
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for training and developing future chefs.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
